Sunday worship comments:
This will be different than you experience at other Churches and that doesn’t make them wrong and us right.

Luke 17 tells us the story of ten lepers that Jesus healed, and one returned to give him thanks. In a similar but humble manner, we will spend the hour in an unplanned selection of hymns, Scripture readings, prayers and meditation. As sinners healed of our sin-sickness by the love, mercy and grace of God, we have much to be thankful for and spend this hour in spiritual worship coupled with taking the Lord’s supper.

While fulfilling the request of Jesus (Matt. 26, Mark 14 & Luke 22 and repeated in 1Cor. 11) we partake in the Lord’s supper (similar to other churches). Jesus metaphorically introduced two elements at His final meal with his disciples before His crucifixion; the bread representing His broken body and the cup (or fruit of the vine) representing His blood shed to atone for sin. “For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.” 1 Cor 11:26

Participation in the Lord’s Supper is not mandatory for all and is intended for those who have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and repented of their sins to God.

     • We invite you to witness and not take the bread and cup…

     • Or if you have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, are saved by God’s grace, and aren’t actively participating in unrepentant sin and you desire to take the bread and cup, we welcome you.

Our resources for singing are from two books, Sing Joyfully “Green book”, and Little Flock “Black book”. The language often is older English, but these hymns have much spiritual depth of thought. The overall desire is that all is done decently and in order as God is not the author of confusion.
May the Lord Bless you! We would like to have you join us again and please bring others with you.
